Class descriptions - If new to Just Balance please call or email first before attending.
- Dynamic — A vinyasa style class to stretch, breathe and energise.
- General — A general flowing class, suitable for most students. relaxation concludes the practice.
- General/Strong — For those with experience and who like a stronger class. Not suitable for beginners.
- Gentle Stretch — A gentle stretch and asana practice, suitable for those who are looking for a gentle class. Completed by a relaxation session
- Gentle/General — Combines elements from both the gentle and general class.Ends with relaxation practice
- Men’s — A class for men only, involving deep stretching and relaxation at the end
- Very Gentle/ Restorative — A very gentle class, utilising many restorative poses and the use of props to enable students requiring extra assistance in their physical practice to still be able to enjoy the benefits of yoga or for those times when you need to some extra emotional nurturing support, to slow the body and mind down.
- Yin and Yang — The class combines a yang style practice - a practice that is more dynamic followed be a yin practice - long held deep postures. It involves deep stretching yet is quietening, calming, reflective, and energising.
Preparing for a Yoga Class
It is recommended that you arrive with an empty stomach (2 hours after a large meal). New students should arrive 10 minutes early .
