Herbal medicine — Heal the body, the mind and the spirit

Herbs can be used to treat and support a multitude of conditions and body systems including but not limited to:

Herbal Medicine

  • Anxiety and depression
  • Arthritis
  • High blood pressure
  • Female reproduction, such as premenstrual tension
  • Insomnia
  • Digestive problems, such as constipation
  • Headaches and Migraines
  • Poor blood circulation and cardiac problems
  • Skin problems, such as acne and eczema

Herbal medicine aims to return the body to a state of natural balance by using the power of herbal extracts and flower essences, so that the body can start healing itself. In fact, many pharmaceutical drugs are based on the synthesised versions of naturally occurring compounds found in plants.

Herbal medicine consultations usually include an iris examination

  Iridology

Iridology is the science of analysing reflex conditions in the iris corresponding to pathology in the body.

The existence of iridology can be traced back to 1000 BCE, when ancient cultures believed that the eye was the 'gateway to the soul'. To the iridologist today, the eye serves as a window through which the state of health can be readily observed.

The iris records information about our constitutional strengths and weaknesses and the state and functioning of every organ in the body, including cellular activity, inflammation and toxemia.  With this information we can take best advantage of our strengths, and work on our weaknesses.

The greatest value, and main advantage, of iris analysis over other forms of diagnosis is that changes appear in the iris before the physical symptoms develop — which enables preventative action to be taken to avoid those diseases which might otherwise follow.

Iridology is the analysis of the colors, textures and marking of the iris. Areas of the body have been mapped through hundreds of years of iridology practice.

Iridology cannot diagnose disease. No one can look at the iris and tell you that you have cancer or diabetes, but an iridologist through examining your iris, may see signs of weakness in certain areas, or note levels of deterioration or excess toxins that indicate a certain disease is present or developing.

In order to truly know if the disease has manifested physically, medical diagnostics need to be applied.

Is it time to find balance?
